So, I hadn't thought of trying the acoustic soundhole pickup through the Pod, and the undersaddle through the Symetrix. to quickly clear some points: yes any piezo would do, some are more suited to the task (already cut to size, some come pre-wired or with a sticky face etc). The 'acoustic' sound of my Tele will never replace my old Martin or Taylor for acoustic sounds, but when I dont want to take more than one guitar to the gig, it does the trick for pretty good faux acoustic sounds. We have to get rid of the negative voltages, we can do this by simply connecting the piezoelectric sensor with a bridge rectifier. Ive had a Nashville Power Tele, ca 2006, for about 8 years now.
